Susie Button is sophomore studying Pre-Veterinary Medicine. She is originally from Newcastle, Wyoming. She is active on campus on the Livestock Judging Team and is President of the Block & Bridle Club and Secretary for the Phi Theta Kappa on Campus.
My name is Johnee Jo Campbell. I am a sophomore studying Veterinary Technology. I am from Shoshoni, Wyoming. I enjoy doing just about everything. I compete in rodeo when I have the chance and in high school, showed sheep competitvely. I won a National Championship in FFA when I was a sophomore in high school. I hopefully plan to graduate in the spring.
My name is Chad Cottam. This is my second year at EWC. I want to be a physical therapist so I am a pre-med major. I came to EWC to play basketball, but I like the class sizes here at EWC because I can get more attention with my hard class schedule. This is my second year. I am from Escalante Utah. I am the youngest in my family. I have been married for two years. I love sports, especially basketball, camping and spending time with my family and friends.
My name is Jordon Cottam and I am a Cosmetology major from southern Utah. I am married to Chad Cottam, who is also a tutor, and plays for the EWC mens basketball team. I am fluent in English, Portuguese and almost in Spanish. I hope to finish my Bachelors degree in Intergated Studies with an emphasis in Education, Foreign Languages, and ESL through Southern Utah University.
Hi, my name is Ashley Cushman. I am a sophomore in the Pre- Nursing program. I plan to transfer to the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Scottsbluff, NE next fall. I am a mother of two little girls and enjoy spending time with them. I have been married for one year. I moved to Torrington in 2007 to follow my husband. I grew up in Northern Colorado and graduated high school in 2005. I took one year of college right out of high school at a community college in Colorado as well as a few courses at Colorado State University.
Jane Hommel is a nontraditional student majoring in veterinary technology. She grew up in South Dakota and is interested in working with large animals in the veterinary field when she gets her degree.
My name is Luke Kaufman. I am majoring in Pre-dentistry and I am a sophomore at EWC. I like to hunt, fish, farm & ranch, and living in the country. I graduated from Southeast High School and after getting my degree at EWC I plan on transferring to Chadron State University.
Hey, my name is Elizabeth Matthies but I usually go by Liz. I am from Gothenburg, Nebraska. I am a sophomore here at EWC majoring in Criminal Justice emphasis in Law Enforcement. I hope to graduate in May with AAS degree and I plan on going on to University of Wyoming. What makes me a great tutor and one day a good police detective is my love to help people.
My name is Dawn Mickle. I am a non-traditional student who is pursuing a degree in history. I plan to go on to the University of Wyoming and work towards getting my Masters in History. I live with my three children, husband and father-in-law so my life can be pretty hectic.
Austin Patzer is a sophomore at EWC majoring in Welding and Joining Technology and is also pursuing his Machine Tool Technology certificate. He is from Saratoga, Wyoming and loves the outdoors and hard work. No transferring to higher education for him. . . It's either work or joining the military next in line. His past achievements include being involved in the National Honor Society, an Eagle Scout, presently in Skills USA, and EWC Shooting Club. Don't be afraid to stop and ask him a question anytime he's free; he'll do his best to answer it.
My name is Courtney Swanson and I am currently pursuing my degree in Business Administration and Accounting. I was born and raised in Torrington and graduated from Torrington High School in 2011. I was involved in Student Council, Varsity Volleyball and Basketball, and an active student in the National Honor Society. I plan on graduating from EWC in 2013 and transfer to Arizona State University.
